It's very important for children and teens to stay active, especially in the time of video games and smartphones. If you want to encourage your kids to get outside and exercise, you won't want to miss the Kids Ultimate Fitness Challenge, the nation's largest mobile fitness event.
The Kids Ultimate Fitness Challenge travels from coast to coast promoting physical activity and fitness in children and teens. The Fairfax pit stop will take place at George Mason University on Saturday, May 28 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Kids of all ages are welcome to participate in a timed obstacle course complete with fast sprints, jump roping, tunnels and hurdles, and the whole family is invited to come cheer on the young participants. Once the race is through, you'll even enjoy other family-friendly activities focused on living a healthier, more active lifestyle.
